So overall, I am leaving 5 stars, the stay was more than very good.
Likes:
1. underfloor heating, was really nice and warm inside. 2. Massive hot tub, the biggest I have been to, so it was really luxurious and spacious. 3. Good WI-FI, not patchy like in other places (however need to pay extra for good wifi and entertainment package). 4. When issue arrised with TV, someone came over really promptly and issue was resolved. 5. Nice area, some trees around, we have seen lots of birds and squirrels running around, so was quite relaxing.
Dislikes: 1. There are no basics, so if you going to need shampoo, shower gel, salt, pepper, foil or cooking oil for food, you have to bring your own. (Some things you can buy in onsite shop, but for example, there was no shampoo or shower gel available at all). 2. We had ordered pizza on the first night, but personally found it tasteless, so didn't care much for ordering more food from the restaurant. 3. After the stay I had really dry and in places looks like chemically burnt skin, so I would suggest to check the bleach and chemical level in the hot tub, because I never experienced this before, looks like there was way too much chemical in. I swear on the last day I saw maintainance guy just pour bleach in straight from bottle no measurements. 🙂 But as I said, overall very good, will come back in the future!

Such a shame. Rooms are great and amazing locations however the amenities are extremely poor. Internet and wifi in the cabins are horrible if you dont pay the extra charge. Also the store prices are a robbery. Paid 3.19 for a bottle of small coke. Kinda a piss take. Wouldnt care if the internet is half decent. Cant even stream the football. Dont think id come back tbh.

Spent a fantastic week here in the middle of the coldest week of the year. Not that we needed to worry as the underfloor heating kept the cabin nice and toasty warm. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food on offer very nice.
Our only slight criticism was that when booking the cabin, we opted for the one that seemed to be out of the way. However what the map of the site doesn't tell you is that there is a trail path around the side of the cabins that means if you're using the hot tub will be constantly passed by people out for a stroll.

Had an amazing 3 night stay at Forest Holidays in Thorpe Forest. Our main reason for staying is that we have a lovely little Affenpinscher who is terrified of fireworks and so every November we try and get out of London. We were assured by the lovely staff here that there would not be any fireworks - at least not in the immediate vicinity - and they were right! We were delighted as we arrived done the long track through the wonderful forest and saw so many other dog owners staying there! Our cabin in the woods was spacious and clean and the hot tub on the decking was ready for use and checked by staff throughout our stay. The walks in the surrounding area were beautiful and calm and the forest area is beautifully maintained. We had a curry meal delivered to us on Saturday night which was fabulous. Loved our stay. Great staff. Great accommodation.

Lovely place that’s nice and quiet and a great place to just recharge from a busy life. Cabin was nicely set out with plenty of room and the kids really enjoyed the hot tub. Great for dogs and if I had to say anything wrong, I wish the stay was for longer but would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone.
